Marilyn Glover

"Under the current Treasurer's Department culture, our taxpayer funds have not been adequately protected from loss, as evidenced by the County Auditor’s financial report.  Even though new state laws were recently passed following the Orange County debacle in California, proper reporting to commissioners, as those laws require, has not been instituted and followed. On top of failing to safeguard our assets, the department has resisted efforts to obtain professional investment advice on appropriate portfolio structuring and yield. This management culture will be reversed under my leadership."

"I have the leadership and management experience to make the right changes, and have shown commitment over my career to the principles which make a strong leader.  I am committed to Fort Bend County and will move the Treasurer's office forward"
